The International Association for Democracy (IAD) is an NGO that works to defend and advance democracy around the globe. We link people with their governments and lobby governments to promote, strengthen and safeguard democratic institutions, processes, norms and values at home and abroad. We also work towards raising public awareness about the current state of democracy around the world and what should be done to better defend and promote democracy.
IAD is looking for a Fundraising Officer to join the fundraising team to help us grow as an association. The candidate must be able to commit 3-5 hours per week to this role.
Objectives of this Role

Assist in the overall work of raising money for the association

Research and contact potential donors

Create and maintain a budget for the association

Maintain a sound economic behaviour within the organisation
Skills and Qualifications

Previous experience with fundraising or auditing (in personal or professional capacity)

Passion for promoting democracy, rule of law and human rights

Able to commit 3-5 hours per week to this role
Preferred Qualifications

Auditing experience would be useful, but not needed.
